What Happens after you Order your Custom Motocal Graphics?

What Happens after you Order your Custom Motocal Graphics?

You have finished your design, checked the kit and placed your order.

So what happens next?

It would be easy to assume that your design simply goes straight from the Motocal Editor to a printer. In reality, quite a lot happens between placing an order and receiving the finished graphics.

Every Motocal order goes through design checks, production, quality control, packaging and shipping before it reaches your door. The goal is simple: make sure the design you created on screen becomes a high-quality graphics kit that fits your vehicle properly and looks amazing.

Every Order Gets a Free Design Check

Before production starts, every Motocal order goes through a free Design Check.

This is an important safety net, especially when you have spent time creating a detailed custom kit.

The Motocal team reviews the design across the different vehicle positions and checks the technical details needed for production. This can include alignment, symmetry, positioning and ensuring the artwork has the correct coverage around the edges of each decal.

The purpose is not to redesign your graphics or change your creative decisions.

If you chose a particular color combination, layout or style, that remains your design. The Design Check is there to catch small technical issues that could affect how the finished graphics are printed, cut or fitted.

It means clicking the order button does not immediately lock a potential technical mistake into the final product.

Your Uploaded Logos Are Checked Too

Custom logos are often one of the most important parts of a graphics kit.

They can also be one of the easiest places for print-quality problems to appear.

An image taken from a website, screenshot or social media page might look perfectly acceptable on a phone or laptop, but when enlarged for a graphics kit it can become blurry or pixelated.

That is why Motocal also provides its Perfect Logo Service.

Uploaded logos are reviewed for image quality before production. If the exact logo you supplied is not good enough for a clean final print, the team can recreate it in a higher-quality format or source a better-quality version of the same logo.

The aim is not to alter your branding. It is simply to make sure the logo that looked good in your design also looks good when it is physically printed.

Made a Mistake After Ordering?

Sometimes you only notice something after pressing the order button.

Maybe the rider’s name has been misspelled. Maybe the race number is wrong. Maybe you suddenly realise there is one small detail you meant to change.

If that happens, contact Motocal as soon as possible on info@motocal.comย

Where the order has not yet entered production, the team can usually help correct these kinds of design errors without an additional charge.

The important part is timing. Once manufacturing has started, making changes becomes much more difficult, so it is always worth getting in touch immediately if you spot something wrong.

Accurate Templates are Where Good Fitment Starts

Great decals are not much use if they donโ€™t fit the vehicle properly.

Behind the Motocal Editor is a large database of vehicle templates that defines the shape and dimensions of individual graphics positions.

These templates are created around the physical geometry of the vehicle’s plastics, panels and fairings, and are checked against the appropriate original manufacturer parts to ensure accurate fitment.

That accuracy is important throughout the entire process.

When you are designing in the Editor, you are working on the same underlying shapes that will later be used to produce and precision-cut your physical decals.

The result is a direct connection between what you design on screen and what ultimately needs to fit onto the vehicle.

Your Kit Is Produced Individually

Once the design has passed its checks, it moves into production.

Motocal graphics are not simply pulled from a shelf as a generic pre-printed kit. Your order is produced from the design you created.

Professional printing and precision-cutting machinery is used to turn the digital design into the finished decals. The production equipment is regularly calibrated to maintain accurate printing and cutting across orders.

There are quality checks here too.

If a printing, cutting or manufacturing issue is identified, the affected graphics can be produced again before the order is sent out.

That way, a machine error will not become a problem that gets passed on to the customer.

Motocal In House Production

Why Motocal only uses Substance Materials

Printing is only one part of producing a good graphics kit. The material underneath it matters just as much.

Motocal uses premium Substance vinyl designed for professional motorsports graphics.

The decals use a two-layer construction. The design is printed onto the vinyl base and then protected by a durable laminate on top.

That added protection matters because motorsports graphics have a much harder life than ordinary stickers.

Depending on the vehicle, they can be exposed to abrasion, mud, fuel, water, repeated washing and the general punishment that comes with riding.

Substance FLO Technology also helps during installation by allowing trapped air to escape more easily underneath the decal. Combined with the silicone-coated backing paper, this makes accurate application considerably easier.

One Final Check Before Shipping

Finishing production does not mean the kit immediately goes into an envelope.

The completed graphics are checked before they leave Motocal.

Customers also receive a snapshot of their finished physical decals before they are packaged. It is a small part of the process, but it gives you your first look at the graphics outside the Editor.

The kit is then packed carefully to help protect it while traveling.

Getting Your Graphics to You

Motocal ships graphics to customers around the world, with both Standard and Express shipping options available.

Standard Shipping is tracked and uses established delivery networks and national carriers depending on the destination. Typical delivery times are around 6 to 11 business days, although this varies by region.

For customers who need their kit sooner, Express Shipping through DHL provides a faster and more predictable delivery window.

Standard Shipping is also free when the qualifying order value is over $166, or the equivalent amount in the customer’s local currency.

Motocal also covers reasonable customs duties, import taxes and tariffs, helping avoid unexpected charges when an international order arrives.

And If Something Goes Wrong?

Once a package leaves production, some parts of the journey are naturally outside Motocal’s direct control.

Packages can occasionally be lost. Something can be damaged during transportation. Very rarely, a fault might only become apparent once the customer receives the decals.

That is why Motocal backs its graphics with a 100% Guarantee.

If an order is lost in transit, arrives damaged or contains a genuine manufacturing fault, Motocal will reproduce and resend the affected graphics at its own cost.

Because the job is not really finished when the printer stops.

It is finished when the custom graphics you created in the Motocal Editor reach you in the condition they were supposed to, ready to be fitted to your vehicle. You could always ask your questions by shooting an email at max@graphics.motocal.com.
