Order Fulfillment Process

Once you place your order with Motocal, your graphics kit begins a carefully managed journey through design review, production, quality control, packaging and delivery.

Because every Motocal kit is made specifically with your design for your vehicle, there are several important checks along the way. We’ll also keep you informed as your order progresses, so you know what is happening from the moment you complete checkout until your graphics arrive.

1. Your Order is Confirmed

As soon as you complete checkout, we’ll send you an Order Confirmation Email confirming that your order has been received.

From there, your design moves to our team for its pre-production checks.

If you request a design change after ordering and our team applies it, you’ll receive an updated Order Confirmation Email showing the revised design. In some cases, the email may display a small system-generated value associated with the update, but there is no additional charge to you for the change itself.

Most orders can then continue through the process without any action required from you. However, if our team identifies something that needs your input, we’ll contact you before production begins.

2. We Check your Design before Printing

Design Check

Before your graphics enter production, every order receives our free Design Check Service. This is a technical review designed to make sure your graphics are properly prepared for manufacturing without changing the creative direction of your design.

Our team checks the accuracy of the design across the different parts of your kit, including placement, alignment, bleed margins and symmetry between matching areas such as opposing side shrouds.

Where possible, we will correct production-related issues ourselves. If we find something that we cannot safely resolve without your input, we’ll email you so it can be addressed before the kit is printed.

The Design Check is not a substitute for your own final review. You remain responsible for checking details such as spelling, vehicle selection, sizing and the overall design and layout before completing your purchase.

The Perfect Logo Service

Our design team reviews uploaded logos and images to make sure they are suitable for high-quality printing. If the quality of an uploaded logo is too low, we may replace it with a better-quality version of the exact same logo or recreate/vectorise it where possible so that it prints as cleanly as possible on your finished graphics.

Once these checks are complete, your order is ready to move into production.

3. Your Graphics are Produced In-House

Every Motocal order is manufactured in-house by our team using specialist printing and finishing equipment.

Your graphics are produced using bright-gloss, American race-quality Substance cast vinyl, combined with a durable protective laminate. Every material features bubble-free FLO Technology that facilitates fast, accurate fitting.

The finished decals are designed for real riding conditions and to withstand challenges such as abrasion, fuel exposure and power washing. Because your kit is based on vehicle-specific templates, each component is produced with precise positioning and cutting so that it corresponds to the intended part of your vehicle.

4. Every Kit goes Through Quality Control

Production is not the end of the process.

Once your graphics have been printed and cut, the finished kit is inspected before it is approved for packing.

Every order is individually handled because every Motocal graphics kit is a bespoke, one-off manufacture. Our team checks for issues such as printing errors, cutting or alignment problems and material imperfections.

If we find a manufacturing issue during this inspection, the affected decal is reprinted before the order moves forward. Once your kit has successfully passed these checks, we’ll also send you a production photo, giving you a quick look at your finished decals before they begin their journey to you.

5. Your Kit is Carefully Packed for Shipping

After passing final quality control, your graphics move into fulfillment.

The decals are secured against rigid backing to help prevent bending, creasing or wrinkling during transport. They are then placed inside robust, damage-resistant packaging with additional protective wrapping for the journey.

Ordering More than One Kit?

If you place multiple separate orders using the same email address and shipping address within a close timeframe, ideally within around two hours, they can be consolidated into a single shipment.

This allows the orders to travel together rather than being dispatched separately.

Once everything is packed and ready, the shipment is handed over to the courier.

6. Your Order is Dispatched and Tracking Begins

As soon as your parcel has been dispatched, we’ll send you a Shipping Confirmation Email containing your tracking information and a link you can use to follow the shipment.

Motocal ships worldwide and offers two main delivery options at checkout.

Standard Shipping

Standard shipments travel through trusted national and international postal networks, including carriers such as USPS, Royal Mail/Parcelforce, AusPost, Canada Post and NZ Post, depending on the destination. Standard shipping is free on qualifying orders over $166 or the equivalent value in your local currency.

Express Shipping

If you need your graphics sooner, you can select our paid Express Shipping option at checkout.

Express orders are shipped using DHL and provide a faster service with a more defined delivery window.

7. Following your Order while it Travels

Tracking an international shipment can occasionally look a little unusual, particularly with Standard Shipping.

Your parcel may pass between several courier partners as it travels from our dispatch hub to the national carrier responsible for delivery in your country.

Because of this, your tracking number or tracking link can sometimes change during the journey. You may also receive additional tracking notifications directly from the courier companies handling your shipment. This is completely normal.

If you receive a newer tracking link during transit, use the most recently provided tracking information for the latest status of your parcel.

All Motocal shipments are tracked, insured and require a signature on delivery. If a shipment is lost or returned, Motocal will arrange for it to be reshipped at our cost.

8. How long does Delivery take?

Typical Standard Shipping timeframes are listed below. Delivery times may vary depending on destination and other external factors.

Typical Standard Shipping estimates are:

  • United States: 9–11 business days
  • Canada: 9–11 business days
  • Europe: 6–7 business days
  • Australia: 9–11 business days
  • New Zealand: 9–11 business days
  • Rest of the World: Your estimated delivery timeframe will be shown at checkout and in your Order Confirmation Email.

These are guideline estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Actual transit times can vary depending on your location, customs processing and other circumstances outside Motocal’s control.

From Your Design to Your Door

All this means your Motocal order does not simply move from checkout to a printer and then into a box.

It is reviewed, prepared, manufactured, inspected, protected, tracked and delivered through a process designed to make sure the graphics you created in Motocal arrive correct and ready to be fitted to your vehicle. And throughout that journey, if something requires your attention, we’ll contact you directly before allowing the order to move forward.
